Dear Classmate:

Homecoming Weekend (the party formerly known as Prince-Tiger Weekend) is coming up November 9-11 and we have events planned.  We will kick things off with a Class of 1974 65th Birthday Party at the home of Coke Anne ’74 and Jarvis Wilcox at 7 West 81st Street on the Upper West Side in Manhattan on Thursday, November 9 from 6-8pm.  If you haven’t yet replied, please let me know ASAP if you will be attending so that we can get an accurate headcount.  A large crowd is expected.  Kevin Heaney, Princeton’s VP for Advancement, will join us for a campus update.

On Friday, November 10, classmates involved in volunteer activities will attend meetings on campus, and there is a full schedule of other activities as well.  Saturday morning, events include the football lecture series featuring Prof. Sam Wang, professor of Neuroscience and founder of the Princeton Election Consortium, and the Tiger Tailgate at Fine Hall Courtyard from 11am-12:45pm.  We expect a good ’74 crowd at the tailgate.  Football kickoff is at 1pm.  Details here: http://alumni.princeton.edu/goinback/football/tailgate/   Many classmates will be sitting in Section 10 in the Lower Deck.  If you don't have tickets yet, call the Princeton ticket office and see if they can seat you in Section 10.  Women’s hockey plays Union at 3pm and men’s soccer plays Yale at 4pm.  Plus, David Cleveland ’74 is in town for a book signing at Labyrinth Books from 10am-4pm.  Plenty to do!

Two housekeeping items - the first is to check your TigerNet listing and make sure it is up to date so we can communicate with you, and the second is to pay your $50 dues for this year. And if you didn’t pay last year’s, include payment for that too.  We still have some classmates with perfect dues records!  Don’t know your dues status? Please send an email to Class Treasurer Bob Kelly at rkelly@jackscamp.com.  You can pay dues using a dues card you will receive later this week or visit the class website at www.princeton74.org.

Hope to see you at one of the events Yale weekend.

Andy

PPS  Our annual fall letter will be in your mailbox in the next few days.  Included will be a dues card.  Last year only a small percentage of the class paid dues, yet we have to pay the University for Princeton Alumni Weekly subscriptions and mailings for every classmate, and we have to cover other class expenses.  Please pay your dues this year!
